Parking lot - what spaces were left unfilled? What techie education things do you hunger for?

I STILL haven't a clue on how to take that short video clip from my minicam and put it in a podable or youtube shareable way. Unedited first then later edited. I want to put on a 15 second clip that can be shared. HOW?

Hi Kandy,

There should be an electrical cord/cable that attaches to your minicam to your computer. Once you connect these, your computer should automatically recognize that you have installed new hardware. There should be a window that pops up asking you what you want to do. Using Windows Media Player or Apple Quicktime, you should be apple to capture snippets of the video and save them as individual files. Then, you should be able to add them to this blog by creating a "new post" and inserting the video file.

Legal ramifications. Like Candy, I'd like to do clips of lessons for kids out on home instruction. What are the legalities if I show a page from a textbook or other copy written material?
I told my dept chair, he knew all the verbiage I mentioned. I don't know if he knows how to do the video, but I'd like to give it a whirl. Legally, of course!

www.creativecommons.org has a database of licensed works you can share, remix, or reuse.

Thanks. I'll look at those ideas. I hope it is as easy as you suggest. Maybe I'll get a chance to try that this weekend.
ALSO: I am in the beginning of a steep hike up a learning curve that I haven't the time to learn. errrrgh. I am trying to figure a way to share what I have recorded on the "Pulse1 or Smartpen" to the desktop to share with my aTimpact Fellow, Leigh. I am trying to upload (to an audio file on the internet) all the stuff from our last session so that my fellow teacher, Leigh, can get up to speed before next Saturday. I am having difficulty. My techie at school has offered to help tomorrow, we shall see. More later when I have something good to report. hopefully.
