Given posters, cooperative playwriting & skits, + discussions, SWBAT:

1.Explain in writing, 5 reasons for approving/disapproving the presidential election outcome including 3 references to domestic policy
2. Compare & contrast how Natives were treated by Europeans in the Dutch and English colonies on a quiz

PROCEDURES/ACTIVITIES

Do Now: Write answer to objective # 1 based on conclusions from prior h.w. projects

1. students least updated are directed to use information on applicable posted student posters displayed on presidential candidates to answer question before I facilitate discussion/debate by having students share their answers/thoughts
2. oral readings & discussion follow team skit productions of Pequot & King Philip’s Wars in New England
3. discuss conflicts in English colony of VA vs. relative peacefulness in Dutch colonies of New Netherland & PA ch. 2 sec. 3 & 4
